چکیده
I report on blogs as a “protected space” within the context of an ethnographic study that examined blogging from a “blogger’seye” view. I discuss the ability of bloggers to control the content of what is “broadcast” in their blogs and how this affects audience perception. I examine the use of blogs as a communicative medium as compared to alternative means of immediate social interaction. I discuss the importance of feedback and commenting as it relates to “community-minded” bloggers and “independent” bloggers.
